CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Happy Valentine’s Day out there. It’ll be a cold one this year with high temperatures in the 20s to around 30 degrees across the area. A mix of clouds and sun in the forecast. Everybody will see high level clouds increasing during the afternoon.

We will be tracking another round of storms tomorrow, and we are already at an Enhanced risk( Level 3/5) for severe weather.

Those showers continue off/on all night, not a lot, but enough to re-freeze any roads that melted during the day. Gusty east wind continues tonight as well. All untreated roads west of Cascades (except coastline) should be turning very icy and will be frozen for the Friday morning commute.

A cold front is expected to move over the western half of the state this week with a second, stronger front approaching late Sunday night.

It should be a nice day on Sunday with a minimal chance for showers. However, changes will arrive on Sunday as the next front approaches, bringing a greater chance for showers. Sunday will be a First Alert Weather Day,

Through President’s Day weekend, Clouds and mild breezes will be a good bet. While late Saturday features a chance for a few raindrops, Sunday will feature our highest chance of showers. Some gusty thunderstorms could be in the mix, too, but limited instability will keep the severe risk low.

The First Alert Weather Team is tracking some rain and a wide range of temperatures through the weekend. Showers will continue into this evening and then end from west to east by at least midnight. The low is 55.
