Robert Pattinson might soon become part of the "Dune" universe. The actor is being considered for the role of villain Scytale in "Dune 3" - another high-profile role for the former "Twilight" star, who has long since established himself as a serious character actor.

Robert Pattinson's name is being linked to Dune: Messiah, the third instalment of the popular sci-fi franchise helmed by director Denis Villeneuve, as per reports. The role that the actor is attached to is said to be Scytale, a villainous character from the Frank Herbert book.

Dune 2 was one of 2024's best movies, but Villeneuve already proved his sci-fi prowess with a 2016 film that is arguably even more impressive.
