Michigan quarterback Bryce Underwood showed glimpses of the growing pains he will likely experience as a freshman and flashes of the promise that made him the nation's top-rated high school football recruit in the Wolverines' spring game.

Though just a true freshman, Underwood has a chance to play a huge role for the Wolverines in his first year with the program. Michigan did bring in veteran transfer quarterback Mikey Keene from Fresno State, but he missed the spring game due to a shoulder injury.

Michigan fans got a glimpse of their future quarterback on Saturday when Bryce Underwood led the Blue team to a 17-0 win over Maize in the annual spring game.
