As egg prices continue to soar, President Donald Trump shared a blunt message on Truth Social about the price of the product.

Trump promised to reduce prices “immediately.” Now he wants Americans to quit complaining while he makes us “so rich” (maybe after a recession).

But egg prices have only increased since Trump took office. Last month, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics announced the average cost of a dozen eggs in the U.S. for January 2025
