An American Airlines plane was evacuated after catching fire on the tarmac at a Denver airport Thursday evening.

A passenger jet that caught fire after landing in Denver is just the latest in a string of aviation incidents.

The flight had been diverted to the airport after experiencing “engine vibrations,” the authorities said. Twelve people were taken to hospitals.
