The U.S. Air Force is expected to begin deploying F-15EX Eagle II fighters to the home of the 18th Wing next year, the wing commander said.

It was initially constructed in 1930 by the Broadmoor Hotel to act as a private hanger for their guests, but in the 40s it was leased to the government to start constructing an Air Force base.
