An Old Soldier remembers the ten-year war at Troy and the events which led up to it: Paris, Helen, Menelaus, Agamemnon, Priam, Achilles, Patroclus, Hector, Cassandra, Odysseus…and the wooden horse.

The original film adaptation of Troy premiered in 2004. Directed by Wolfgang Petersen, it featured Brad Pitt in the role of Achilles and drew loose inspiration from Homer’s epic poem The Iliad.
