Everything to know about St. Patrick’s Day 2025 celebrations in NYC: Parade, bar crawls and more
The parade is always held on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, which is a Monday in 2025. The only exception to the rule is when the 17th falls on a Sunday, as it did in 2024. In that case, in order to observe the Sabbath, according to parade organizers, the parade was held on Saturday, March 16.

Here’s the list of street closures for Sunday and Monday. Start: Washington Avenue near Sullivan Place. Formation will be at Prospect Park West between 9th Street and 14th Street. Dispersal will be at Prospect Park West between 14th Street and 15th Street.
