According to the lottery, only four tickets matched all six Mega Millions numbers in 2024 – the fewest jackpots won in a calendar year since the game began in 2002.

The Mega Millions lottery jackpot was an estimated $59 million with a cash option of $26.6 million for Friday night's drawing.

A Texas lottery player has cashed in big-time after winning $2 million from Mega Millions. The winner, who lives in Grand Prairie, bought the winning ticket from Ballpark Beverage, at 2100 E. Lamar Blvd.
