The National Weather Service has confirmed nine tornadoes, mostly in mid-Michigan, amid Sunday's weather. One more report in Branch County is still under investigation. All of them were rated EF-1 or EF-0. The confirmed list includes a small tornado, rated EF-O, that hit along Wabash Road near Milan in Monroe County

The National Weather Service (NWS) has been conducting surveys on the damage and already determined that seven tornadoes touched down. On Wednesday, they confirmed two additional tornadoes, bringing the total to nine. The NWS reports that there was an EF-1 in New Haven and an EF-0 in Milan.

Five tornadoes touched down Sunday in Cass, Ingham, Kent, and Newaygo counties, the National Weather Service confirmed. The first one, an EF1, started at about 4:52 p.m. in Edwardsburg in Cass County, officials with the weather service's Northern Indiana office said.
