Some 32,000 homes, businesses, farms, and schools across the country are without electricity this evening, 11 days on from Storm Éowyn.In an update issued on Monday afternoon following a meeting of the National Emergency Coordination Group (NECG),

The National Emergency Co-ordination Group (NECG) met on Monday to continue to coordinate efforts to restore power, water, telecommunications and other services following the storm. While over 30,000 homes and businesses are still without power, 736,000 have been restored.

At its peak 30% of all premises in Northern Ireland had their power disconnected.
