After the end of the 9-to-5 workday on May 1 ― what's known as International Workers' Day ― about 200 demonstrators gathered in Green Bay's Leicht Memorial Park to protest the influence of corporations and wealthy individuals within President Donald Trump's administration.

Labor leaders are managing a changing landscape for workers, with increases in the cost of living, and the impacts of the Trump administration’s labor policies and funding cuts.

For International Labor Day, or May day, several hundred people gathered in downtown Boise Thursday afternoon to protest the Trump administration. Joining similar events across the U.S., about 800 people met in front of City Hall with signs condemning a broad swath of the president’s policies.
