A federal judge in Boston Wednesday is allowing the Trump administration to move forward with its federal worker buyout program for the moment.

A federal judge has allowed Donald Trump’s administration to carry out its federal worker buyout program as the Republican president moves to overhaul and downsize the U.S. government, handing a setback to unions trying to stop the plan.

A federal judge lifted a previous order pausing the program Wednesday. Soon afterward, the Office of Personnel Management announced the program was closed.
