Family, friends and teachers from Larkspur Middle School came together Sunday to remember the life of Juan Acevedo, the 12-year-old who went missing and whose body was recovered three days later in a pond;

Juan Sebastian Mejia Acevedo died from an accidental drowning in a pond outside the Cambria at Cornerstone apartments in Virginia Beach, the medical examiner said Wednesday.
