With the addition of six-time All-Star DeWanna Bonner, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever look like legitimate WNBA championship contenders.

DeWanna Bonner is headed to Indiana to join Caitlin Clark and the Fever, a person familiar with the deal told The Associated Press on Sunday. The person spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because no official announcement has been made.

The first move Fever president Kelly Krauskopf and general manager Amber Cox made was dismissing head coach Christie Sides after two seasons with the team. This paved the way for Connecticut Sun coach Stephanie White to join the team. To kick off free agency, the Fever made Kelsey Mitchell a priority, bringing back the two-time All-Star.
