A 50-year-old Dallas man is facing a murder charge following a Monday fatal shooting, Mesquite police say. Roderick Hanson was booked into the Dallas County jail Wednesday afternoon, according to online records. It’s not immediately clear if he has an attorney.

DALLAS — An 18-year-old has been arrested on a murder charge in the 2024 shooting death of another teen, according to the Dallas Police Department.
