It took two months, but the Colorado Rockies finally have their first series win of 2025. Hunter Goodman's eighth inning solo home run helped the Rockies to a 3-2 win over the Miami Marlins at loanDepot Park on Tuesday night (box score).

Even though they got the win, the Rockies are still historically terrible. They sit at just 11-50, which is by far the worst record in baseball. They were swept 10 times through their first 20 series of the season, which is tied for the most at that point in a season in MLB history. They fired manager Bud Black after a 7-33 start.

The Colorado Rockies ended a streak of 22 consecutive series losses dating to last year, beating the Miami Marlins 3-2 Tuesday night as Hunter Goodman homered for the third time in two games.
