If an S-1 form is officially lodged, Bitwise will join Osprey Funds and Rex Shares, who just filed for several cryptocurrency ETFs on Tuesday. Among those are the ones tracking Dogecoin and Official Trump (TRUMP), President Donald Trump’s memecoin.

Bitwise Asset Management announced plans for a Dogecoin Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF), aiming to offer secure, regulated exposure to the popular meme cryptocurrency. The ETF would simplify Dogecoin investments by eliminating the need for wallets or exchanges.

Another company has shown interest in memecoin ETFs as Bitwise took the first step toward issuing a $DOGE ETF, registering a Bitwise Dogecoin ETF entity in Delaware Wednesday.

Crypto index fund manager Bitwise has submitted a filing for a Dogecoin ETF, prompting analyst Ali Martinez to say it could fire DOGE to $15.

The company has registered “BITWISE DOGECOIN ETF” as a legal entity with Delaware’s Department of State’s Division of Corporations, possibly setting the stage for an official ETF filing with the SEC. In a statement shared with Invezz on email, the company confirmed that that the filing is legitimate and was filed by Bitwise.

Bitwise has registered for an ETF product tracking the world’s largest memecoin as the crypto subsector becomes more prominent within the market.

Nate Gercai, President of ETF Store, highlighted the surprising absence of filings for a Dogecoin ETF. In a January 15 post on X, he emphasized Dogecoin’s position as the seventh-largest digital asset by market capitalization.
