There are no charcoal bar-be-ques or campfires allowed a Lake Berryessa! Propane grills are ok. The water is really low, and you can expect to walk a ways if you go to Oak Shores. Be safe, they loan…Full review by 1Atila1

There might be some memorial or sign, but that island ("Zodiac Island") I think is by Oak Shores, way on the other end of the lake from where I stayed. Sorry, can't help you more.
