Search "Sand Dunes- Public Transport" in TripAdvisor Mui Ne forum. The topic about public bus from Ham Tien (around the Sinh Tourist office) to Red Sand Dunes and Fairy Stream (Fairy Spring) was posted in May 2015. I guess the info is still valid, I am going to Mui Ne next month.

No you can easily do it on your own. Renting a motorbike or one of the jeep tours is probably a the best and most affordable way. I think our tour started at 4.30 or 5.00 am.

Yes. I took the two level recliner bus. It was about 5 hours from downdown Saigon to that area. It stops once and has no toilet on the bus. It costs about 5 US. I don't know if you can get …
Yes. I took the two level recliner bus. It was about 5 hours from downdown Saigon to that area. It stops once and has no toilet on the bus. It costs about 5 US. I don't know if you can get a bus from the airport to but Taxis are cheap. You may need a reservation in advance since I was told the bus fills up.
