I would allow between 1 and 2 hours to have a good look at everything in the Museum and read the guide book as you go round. There is a classroom area where you can draw and I think they sometimes hold art sessions there. Outside the exhibition space, but still within Tampere Hall, there is a Moomin library where you can read the books. I liked the cafe, which opens for lunches. Finally, the shop is worth a look; if you like stamps, it is worth sending a postcard from the postbox at the Museum as you get a special Moomin postmark (postcards and stamps are available from the desk)!
