When I was there in early October, there was NO fee for either the Harriet Tubman center in downtown Cambridge nor for the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad National Historical Park just south of Church Creek MD.
If we spend 3/4 days in this area, are there any other historic sites or quaint places to visit? We are diving from DC hand have 6 nights altogether from June 29. We like history and crab!

Highly recommend visiting Lewes, Delaware for quaint, beautifully restored Victorian homes (look up “Shipcarpenter Square”), excellent restaurants, an easy, beautiful “hike” (walk) through Cape Henlopen State Park at the Atlantic Ocean. You’d be driving all the way to the coast from the Chesapeake Bay, but worth’s the drive. Lots of wildlife, and maybe even treat yourself to a few hours on the beach!
