Fascinating place with a wealth of history. The plaques provide plenty of details about the fort's history & the friendly park rangers roaming around provided answers to any questions we asked.Full review by Linda N

Questions & answers

Q:
Do you sell the National Park Passport in the visitor center? Or should I get it online in advance? Thanks!
A:
All parks " Should " have them available if they have a visitors center with a book store on site, which Fort Matanzas does. Just to be safe you might want to order online.
Q:
Can I take my dog?
A:
Not allowed on the boat. Can go on the walking trail and elsewhere in the area on leash.
